For those not aware, Poltergeist is getting a remake. Naturally, I was skeptical, since the vast majority of remakes are unoriginal and completely superfluous. But, it seems only reasonable to give the film a fair chance. So, I attempted to go into the trailer open-minded to see what I should be expecting when it releases later this summer. I did a short video articulating my initial reaction to the trailer. You can check out both the trailer as well as my reaction below.
